Tunisia-Ennahdha parliamentary bloc calls for resumption of parliamentary work

Ennahdha bloc called on the house speaker and MPs to resume parliamentary work in accordance with the 2014 constitution and the Parliament Rules of Procedure. In the same vein, the bloc called on all parties that believe in democracy to work together against “the coup” and to defend the people against the dangers of division.

 

The bloc likewise condemned the appearance of civilians before military courts, the house arrest against deputies and the gathering of all powers in the hands of one person, reads the statement signed by the president of the bloc Imed Khmiri.
