Tunisia: Ennahdha sends correspondence to Saied asserting the protection of Ghannouchi and his family

Ennahdha confirmed in a press release that it had sent official correspondence to the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of National Defense, asserting the protection of the integrity of Rached Ghannouchi, his family, supporters and headquarters of the movement.
According to the same source, Ennahdha attributes the accountability to President Kais Saied for the safety of Ghannouchi, in particular after the declarations of the defence committee of Belaid and Brahmi during a press conference. Concerning the words of the defence committee, the movement considered them as “an incitement against Rached Ghannouchi” because it calls to move to the house of the party leader in Parc Ennahli and to the headquarters of Ennahdha in Montplaisir.

Believing that it is an address that threatens the security of the leader of the party, his family and all those who are in his home and at the party headquarters.
