Bank counters will be open this Saturday, December 30, 2023 to permit transactions to run smoothly during the New Year’s holiday.
By decision of the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT), banks will give the public, on Saturday December 30, 2023, with a cash register and manual exchange service, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Also, the BCT will provide a payment service at its headquarters in Tunis and in its branches to allow the smooth running of transactions on the occasion of the New Year’s holiday, Monday, January 1, 2024.
The BCT also notified banks and the National Post Office, dated Wednesday, December 27, 2023, to secure the loading of ATMs, the continuity of electronic payments and to intervene in time for the resolution of any technical incident.
