Tunisia- Expiry of the legal deadlines to accept the resignation of the Popular Front MP’s

 

Depositing their official submission to the Assembly of the Representatives of the People on the 28th of May. The legal deadline to accept the submitted resignation of nine deputies from the Popular Front has passed. The resigning MP’s said in an official statement that the apparent reasons for driving them to promptly resign were still valid. Opposing the ruling coalition, the party renewed and pledged their commitment to continue to defend the party’s policies that are in favour of the country and its people.
