Tunisia – Extension of pre-trial detention of Ridha Charfeddine

The first investigating judge of the Financial Judicial Pole informed the businessman and former MP Ridha Charfeddine, of the decision to extend his pre-trial detention for another four months.

Remark that last November, the investigating judge of the Financial Judicial pole issued a prison warrant against Charfeddine for charges related to the exploitation of the facilities granted by the characteristics of professional and social activity, resulting in customs, banking and tax offences and tax evasion and the creation of unreal legal situations.
