Tunisia – Extension of preventive detention of regional SG of UGTT in Kasserine

The member and media officer of the executive office of the Kasserine Regional Labor Union Ridha Al-Samaali confirmed today that the investigating judge at the court of first instance of Tunis has decided to expand the preventive detention of the secretary general of the Kasserine Regional Labor Union, Al-Sanki Al-Assoudi, after questioning him.

He added in a press statement that the attorneys filed a request for release to the public prosecutor, believing that “what has been attributed to Al-Sanki are only accusations.”
