Tunisia – Extension of the preventive detention of Lotfi Mraïhi

The first investigating judge at the Tunis Court of First Instance informed the President of the Popular Republican Union Party, Lotfi Mraihi, of the decision to extend his pretrial arrest by four more months.

As a reminder, the investigating judge at the Tunis Court of First Instance had issued arrest warrants against Lotfi Mraihi and other defendants, based on suspicions related to the making of profits abroad and the opening of a bank account abroad without the approval of the Central Bank of Tunisia.
