Tunisia-Extreme heat wave with temperatures of 50° will hit these Arab countries

The Arab Meteorological Center has alerted of a severe heatwave starting next Wednesday, saying temperatures could reach 50 degrees Celsius in several Arab countries.

The centre stated in a warning bulletin that weather forecasts reveal that several regions of the Arabian Peninsula will be struck by a heatwave with temperatures reaching 50 degrees Celsius.

Arab Weather said high atmospheric pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere over the region is anticipated to gradually intensify by the end of this week, coinciding with a deepening of the surface temperature depression. in the east of the Arabian Peninsula, and this will thus lead to an intensification of heat.

Arab Weather forecasts that temperatures will rise especially by the end of this week in Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain and the Emirates, with temperatures in the 40s in most areas.

It added that forecasts indicate that 50 degrees Celsius could be registered in several parts of Iraq, Kuwait and eastern Saudi Arabia.

The Arab Meteorological Center has warned of this predicted increase in temperatures, warning against exposure to the sun at any time of the day and advising to drink plenty of cold liquids and refreshments throughout the day and even the night.
