Tunisia – Fabrizio Saggio pays farewell visit to Kaïs Saïed

President of the Republic, Kais Saied, welcomed, Friday, January 5, 2024, at Carthage Palace Mr. Fabrizio Saggio, Ambassador of the Italian Republic in Tunisia, on the occasion of the end of his functions in our country.

The President of the Republic hailed the role of the Italian ambassador in contributing to strengthening the existing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries, highlighting Tunisia’s firm wish to continue to develop its strong and distinguished relations with Italy and to consolidate the desire for coordination and consultation with it on diverse issues of common interest.

For his part, Mr. Fabrizio Saggio voiced his sincere thanks and deep gratitude to the Head of State and the Tunisian authorities for the support and help he received throughout his work in our country, underlining that Italy is committed to continuing its support for Tunisia, to standing by its side and to strengthening partnership opportunities with it at bilateral and European levels.
