Since yesterday evening, the management of the Facebook social network has taken down the official page of Radio Monastir, as disclosed by the Director of Radio Monastir, Lilia Ben Cheikh Al-Ajra, in a press release today, Thursday, to TAP.
The director clarified that the Facebook administration cited the closure of the page due to “the publication of content contrary to community standards concerning dangerous individuals and organizations.” She noted that Radio Monastir has created a new page on the same network and has informed the National Computer Security Agency about this closure.
It is important to note that Radio Monastir dedicated all of its broadcasts yesterday to discussions about the Palestinian cause as part of the open media day in support of the Palestinian cause, commemorating the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People on November 29 each year, as designated by the United Nations General Assembly since 1977.
