Tunisia-Faouzi Mahdi does not rule out the possibility of a fourth COVID wave

Although some indicators have improved, we are still in a critical situation, ”according to Faouzi Mahdi, Minister of Health.

During a hearing session at the Parliament, he emphasised that the fight against the pandemic is continuing, asserting that it is a real war and warning against the non-compliance with preventive measures.

To this end, the minister did not rule out the hypothesis of a prospective fourth epidemiological wave and hence of a further increase in the number of infections, deaths and hospitalizations.
