The Minister of Health, Faouzi Mehdi, has denied any suspicion of corruption in the management of resources devoted to the fight against the coronavirus, in response to accusations by the international organization of young leaders (Global Young Leaders Organization).
According to his explanation, all financial resources are managed by the Ministry of Finance and not by the Ministry of Health.
He further explained that the difficulties lie in the slowness of administrative procedures and the need to verify the absence of suspicion in calls for tenders before the acquisition of equipment and drugs.
