Tunisia has requested five million doses of anti-Covid-19 vaccine, the Minister of Health, Faouzi Mehdi announced on Monday morning, November 30, 2020.
Speaking to the TAP agency, Mr Mehdi hoped that Tunisia will soon receive its vaccine needs. Nevertheless, he did not stipulate which laboratories the country had sent the requests to.
The minister also indicated that the ministry’s projections estimate that the peak of Covid-19 contamination will be located in mid-December 2020, hence the need to continue to respect preventive health measures.
