Tunisia-Farid Belhaj: “The current economic situation in Tunisia is chaotic and the trajectory of its development is unpredictable”

Speaking to Shems FM, World Bank vice-president for the Middle East and North Africa, Ferid Belhaj, outlined the current economic situation in Tunisia as chaotic. “It is a chaotic situation that prompts high concern and the trajectory of its development is unpredictable,” he said.

“Whenever a new administration is formed in the nations in which we work, the World Bank comes up with a white paper; A guide that presents recommendations based on the data registered, ”Belhaj said in the context of the bank’s tasks.

During a virtual seminar organized by the Nabeul Business Institute on the theme “Tunisian economy, in what direction? Mr Belhaj revealed that this roadmap incorporates points that should be among the priorities.
