Tunisia-Farouk Bouaskar: ISIE is ready for early elections

Speaking to Express FM,The vice-president of the Independent Higher Authority for Elections (ISIE) Farouk Bouaskar announced today  that in case the power in place chooses to organize early elections, the ISIE is logistically and technically ready.

Indeed, the organization of the elections has become a regular task for the body, he added, evoking that the ISIE is currently working on the organization of municipal elections in more than 10 municipalities.

Farouk Bouaskar pointed out, nevertheless, that organizing early elections can be more complex than holding elections at the end of terms because the body has a comparatively short deadline of 90 days.
