Tunisia-Farouk Bouasker announces presence of international organizations during referendum

ISIE president (Independent Higher Authority for Elections), Farouk Bouasker declared on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, that he responds daily to regional organizations requesting to intervene as observers during the referendum on July 25.

The African Union, the Arab League and the American Carter Center will be present in Tunis with teams that will be responsible for observing the smooth running of the ballot.

In told Shems FM, that he hoped that local organizations and associations would likewise all be present at the deadline. These organizations will be responsible for monitoring the approximately 11,600 polling stations.
