Tunisia-Farouk Bouasker: The body has succeeded in its historic mission

Speaking to Mosaique FM, president of the independent higher body for the elections (ISIE), Farouk Bouasker confirmed that he had long hesitated before taking the presidency of the ISIE cause of the instability of the political situation.

Bouasker assured that the ISIE had succeeded in its historical mission through the organization of the first referendum in Tunisia in record time. 

Similarly, the president of the body confirmed that his designation at the head of the body is nothing political, even less with his closeness to the President of the Republic, recollecting that he was already within the Instance since 2011, even before the access of President Saïed in power.
