Tunisia-Fathi Sellaouti: The Tunisian offer will lead to a 30% increase in the price of textbooks

The Minister of Education, Fathi Sellaouti addressed the subject of the printing of textbooks, pointing to the growth in the prices of the offers offered by Tunisian companies. He revealed that the cost of printing textbooks for the year 2020-2021 reached 14 million dinars, 27 million dinars for the year 2021-2022 while for the current year the cost was assessed at 63 million dinars. Sellaouti specified that the State pursues the interest of the citizen considering that these price increases impact the purchasing power of the Tunisian citizen. “These increases will cause textbook prices to rise by at least 30%,” he added.
