Tunisia-Fethi Selouati: The ministry will not hesitate to suspend classes if the situation requires it

Education Minister Fethi Selouati announced that the ministry will not delay suspending classes if the situation requires it. This suspension could change, depending on the evolution of the spread of the pandemic, a class, a school or even a whole region, he emphasised.

In the same context, he emphasised that this sort of decision will be taken after discussion with all the parties expected to be able to evaluate the gravity of the threat incurred in the event of non-suspension of the courses, in particular the Scientific Committee for the Fight against the Coronavirus, adding that 1/10 of the number of national infections is recorded in schools.
