Tunisia-First reaction of the UGTT on the circular sent by Bouden to his ministers

Sami Tahri, the spokesperson for the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT), remarked on the decision by prime minister Najla Bouden to prohibit negotiations with the unions. In a post published, Thursday, December 16, 2021 on its official Facebook page, the trade unionist wrote:
“After having contributed to reconciliation … By withdrawing strikes by more than 75%, and this following the receiving of satisfactory agreements for all parties … After having been the cradle of social dialogue, the Ministry of Social Affairs will become the greater support for strikes because of circular 20 of December 9, 2021,”he said.
As a reminder, Tunisie Numérique was the first Tunisian media outlet to exclusively receive Bouden’s circular, in which it called on its ministers to no longer conduct negotiations with the union parties without returning to it.
