The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad Othman Jeranid has been directed by the President of the Republic Kais Saied to conduct communications with European leaders, concentrating in particular on the latest developments in Tunisia.
According to a press release by the Foreign Ministry, Mr Jerandi spoke with the head of French diplomacy Jean-Yves Le Drian, the German Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Miguel Berger and the high representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell.
On this occasion, the Minister notified these leaders of all the recent developments in Tunisia in the light of the decisions adopted last Sunday by the President of the Republic.
Quoted in the same press release, the European leaders reaffirmed their nation readiness to continue to assist Tunisia in its democratic process on the life of the establishment of the rule of law, democracy and human rights.
