Foreign Minister Noureddine Erray received a phone call from his German counterpart, Heiko Maas. Discussions centred on approaches to reinforce bilateral cooperation relations and expand the strategic cooperation between the two countries in all areas.
Erray praised the exceptional dynamics distinguishing the cooperation between Tunisia and Germany, praising Germany’s continued backing for Tunisia at bilateral and multilateral levels to discuss economic and development hurdles, especially in the current context of the coronavirus.
For his part, the German Minister emphasised his country’s interest in the privileged partnership relations with Tunisia in all fields. The phone call was additionally an occasion to trade views on some regional and international issues, especially the situation in Libya.
