Tunisia-For 20% of Tunisians, the coronavirus is not a “serious problem”

A press conference was organized on the morning of Wednesday 14 October to addresses developments in Tunisia in the face of the pandemic.

Faycel Ben Salah, director-general of health, said at this press conference that, according to a study carried out on a sample of around 1,000 people, the rate of compliance with the wearing of masks increased from 10% (in September) at more than 40% (in October). According to him, there is still a lot to do to ensure that the wearing of masks is respected

The director-general of health added that according to the same study, 20% of Tunisians do not consider the coronavirus as a “serious problem”.
