Tunisian Forum for Socio-Economic Rights (FTDES) stressed, in its latest report, the spread of the phenomenon of violence.
According to the forum, this violence is clarified by the articulation of various factors, notably cultural, social, political and psychological. It rises with the increasing effects of the economic crisis and the impunity of interpersonal criminal acts, but likewise the trivialization of violent discourse on social networks.
The figures, as announced by the FTDES, indicate that the governorates of Tunis, Nabeul, Kairouan, Sousse and Bizerte registered the highest rates of violence during this last quarter of 2023.
