Tunisia-Former presidential nominee Hatem Boulabiar challenges presidential result

Former presidential nominee Hatem Boulabiar who obtained 0,11% of votes has filed an official challenge against the presidential result in the administrative tribunal.
In light of this appeal, the second round of the 2019 early presidential elections will not take place on September 29, as previously announced.

The ISIE previously announced that presidential candidates might challenge result with the essential relevant documents to the Administrative Court’s appeals committee, following Article 145 (new) of the Electoral Law.
