Tunisia – French schools switch to distance learning

Following the decisions adopted by the Tunisian administration, in the context of the fight COVID-19, the French diplomatic mission has decided to follow the general instructions by declaring the following measures:
  • General Lockdown from Thursday, January 14 to Sunday, January 17 inclusive.
  • Closure of schools from January 18 to 24. Maintenance of kindergartens and nurseries. Consequently, this Friday, January 15, the school will be shut down and teaching will be done at a distance for all levels.

Kindergarten students will be welcomed in person the week January 18 from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with the preservation of school meals. Elementary and secondary will have distance education the week of January 18. The timetables will be adjusted accordingly, on the model of the week from 04 to 09 January.
