Tunisia-Friday prayers suspended in Tozeur

A series of new measures have been imposed in the governorate of Tozeur to stem the spread of COVID-19, including halting Friday prayers.

Other actions involve the obligation to wear a mask in open spaces after it was classified as a high area with a risk of the rapid spread of the Coronavirus,

Moreover, all demonstrations and gatherings, whether they are of a cultural, sports, political, scientific or commercial nature, will be banned. Gatherings as well as celebrations. Public and private in all space will also be put on hold.
