The Tunisian Forum for Economic and Social Rights (FTDES) called on Monday for the organization of vaccination campaigns for the profit of refugees, asylum seekers and migrants, in their reception centres and in cooperation with the organizations concerned.
In a statement released on Monday, the FTDES hailed the efforts of the health ministry to secure the right of refugees and asylum seekers to vaccination, believing that this promotes equality and guarantees an atmosphere of trust.
In this context, the FTDES emphasises the necessity to increase information and awareness campaigns targeting refugees, asylum seekers and migrants while guaranteeing their right to denounce any bad behaviour and to report any probable adverse effect following the vaccination.
The FTDES reaffirms its support for all migrants in Tunisia and calls on them to resort, without hesitation, to vaccination.
