The strike in the fuel transport sector, planned for June 9, 10 and 11, 2022, has been cancelled, according to a press release issued on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, by the Ministry of Social Affairs.
This decision was taken after the signing of a deal at the Ministry’s headquarters between representatives of fuel distribution companies, the Tunisian Union of Industry, Commerce and Crafts (UTICA) and the General Federation of Petroleum and Chemicals under the Tunisian General Labor Union (UGTT). The agreement covers a wage increase from 2021.
