The “Hirondelles” centre for autistic children in Redeyef in the governorate of Gafsa, has sounded the alarm after the delay registered at the start of the school year in this centre, due to the non-payment by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the management bonus for the years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024.
The president of the Tunisian Association for the Promotion of Mental Health Section Redeyef and the head of the specialized education center Zazia Dinari revealed in a statement to TAP that nearly 35 autistic children were unable to join the schools this year, specifying that this center is encountering financial difficulties.
