Tunisia-Gafsa-Esnad [PHOTOS]: Tribute to the families of the martyrs of terrorist operations

The residents of the town of Esnad in the governorate of Gafsa marked today March 07, 2022, the 6th anniversary of the epic of Ben Guerdane. A tribute was paid to the martyr Captain Boulaares Raddaoui, from the Esnad region, in the attendance of regional authorities, security and military officials as well as the family of the martyr.

A tribute was likewise paid to the hero martyr, Corporal Abdessamad Smairi, who was also a victim of terrorism during a terrorist operation in Djebel Chaanbi. It should be stated that at dawn on March 7, 2016, the city of Ben Guerdane saw a terrorist raid, carried out by members of DAECH. In a spirit of patriotism and thanks to the cooperation between the military and security forces and the citizens, a few hours were enough to neutralize the threat and halt the attackers.
