The governorate of Gafsa encountered powerful winds today which caused some trees to fall in the Omar Ben Slimane district, and also caused a power outage and traffic disruptions.
The regional authorities were informed and the secretary general of the governorate and the delegate of El Guetar arrived on the scene, accompanied by cars from the railway municipality and the STEG technical team. Problems caused by strong winds and rainfall have been overcome, while electricity is still cut in El Guetar and the Metlaoui delegation.
