The National Federation of Banks and Financial Institutions condemned the decision of the Tunisian Professional Association of Banks to reverse the accord reached with the union on April 30, 2021.
Calling this act a “dangerous precedent”, the federation concluded that the Tunisian Professional Association of Banks is now controlled by lobbies that seek that no solution is found with the union.
The National Bank Federation announced that a meeting of the national sector council will take place on July 28, in which further decisions will be taken, not ruling out the likelihood of another strike in the banking sector.
