Tunisia-German donates of 30 million euros to develop green hydrogen

Under a memorandum of understanding on the founding of a Tunisian-German union of green hydrogen (Power-to-X), a German donation of 30 million euros (the equivalent of 98 MD) will be given to Tunisia, according to the TAP agency.

This memorandum was approved by the Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines, Saloua Sghaier and the Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), Norbet Barthle.

The latter, valued, that this deal will be win-win since it will enable not only to improve the Tunisian industry of green hydrogen in Tunisia but also to export it to Europe, in particular, Germany.
