The leader of the Salvation Front, Ahmed Nejib Chebbi, indicated at a press conference held on Monday morning that he expects “a wave of repression” which will target the front rank of the socio-political movement in Tunisia.
He added that Rached Ghannouchi told him during a recent meeting that he had no association with the “Nama’ Tounes” or “Instalingo” cases, which are the subject of forensic inquiries. “Ghannouchi told me that he was born here and that he will die here (…) He likewise told me that according to the information that reached him, he will be arrested after his next hearing” he said.
