Tunisia-Ghazi Chaouachi: Hichem Mechichi worsened the crisis facing the country

Secretary-General of the Democratic Current, Ghazi Chaouachi, concluded that prime minister Hichem Mechchi has his portion of responsibility in the current crisis in the country.

Mr Chaouchi affirmed that the PM could not solve the problem of Al Kamour, but rather He made it worse.

Speaking to a private radio, he said: “In July, I attended restricted councils, and no security intervention order in Al Kamour took place … the ruling may have been taken by a regional security cell.”

Furthermore, concerning the national dialogue, Chaouachi affirmed, that the President of the Republic Kais Saied, seeks, of course, to secure the success of this dialogue, however, that it will not be an easy task.
