Attayar opposes the amendment of Legislative Decree No. 116 presented by the Al Karama Coalition for the audiovisual sector, assured Ghazi Chaouachi, secretary-general of the party, on Sunday.
“Attayar’s parliamentary bloc in parliament will not vote in favour of this amendment,” he added in a statement to TAP Agency, stressing that the group will appeal to the Provisional Control Body of the constitutionality of the bills, in the event of passage, next Tuesday, of this decree-law.
According to Chaouachi, Attayar is ready to seize the President of the Republic to return the legislative initiative to the parliament for a second reading, stressing, in this regard, that priority should have been given to the government project, presented to parliament and not not to the proposal of the Coalitional Karama which “is of no use”.
