The yearly Ghriba (Djerba) pilgrimage which was dropped in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, is programmed from April 25 to May 2, 2021, the president of the organizing committee for this event, Perez. He affirmed during a meeting held with the Minister of Tourism, Habib Ammar who visited the Ghriba synagogue that all the arrangements have already been started to ensure all the circumstances of reception of visitors to the Ghriba. , revealing his wish and hope of holding this pilgrimage. The minister also vowed to implement all the measures of the health protocol against the coronavirus.
For his part, the Minister of Tourism indicated that the preparations for the pilgrimage are going well, according to the progression of the health situation of the country, asserting that the pilgrimage of Ghriba is an essential tourist event which gives the signal of the success of the tourist season.
