Tunisia-Government presidency denounces assault on Abir Moussi

On the sidelines of the aggression of  PDL leader Abir Moussi today at the parliament, the presidency of the government condemned in a press release made public this evening, June 30, 2021, these actions regarding that as “an attack on women and their accomplished gains following the activism of Tunisian women.
The government presidency likewise said it had before condemned the verbal assault on the Minister of Higher Education and the Minister for Women, Families and the Elderly by members of Parliament.
Affirming its condemnation of physical and verbal aggression whatever the reasons and perpetrators. Likewise, It called on MPs to avoid such practices, which worsen with each passing day and the necessity to exercise wisdom and caution when interacting with different visions and points of view.
