Tunisia-Government presidency: measures announced remain in force during Eid and until the end of July

The presidency of the government addressed criticism of the lack of transparency in its communication in connection to the sanitary measures decreed during  Aid Al Adha.
The presidency of the government evoked that the measures declared in the press release of July 8, 2021 (which refers to the measures taken in June) remain in force till July 31, 2021.
Below is the list of the taken measures :
  •  A curfew between 8 p.m. and 5 a.m.
  • Ban to travel between regions
  • Restriction of the number of customers to 30% in closed spaces and to 50% in open spaces in cafes and restaurants, with tables and chairs raised at 4 p.m.
  • Ban on card games and hookah in cafes

It should be remarked that in addition to these nationally applicable measures, other decisions have been taken at the level of some regions.
