Tunisia: Governor of Bizerte dismissed from office

The President of the Republic, Kais Saied today issued August 12, 2021, a presidential decree sacking Governor of Bizerte Mohamed Gouider.
The head of the state also issued a presidential decree designating Samir Abdellaoui as governor of Bizerte. Abdellaoui was sworn in before the Head of State this evening in accordance with article 89 of the Constitution.
