Tunisie Numérique has just learned that the prominent comedian Tawfik Bahi has passed away today at the age of 69 after a long battle with the illness.
Known for his role as Beji Matrix in the famous TV series “Choufli Hal”, Tawfik Bahri has appeared in other films and series such as “Porto Farina”, “Bastardo”, “Gamret Sidi Mahrous” and “Dar Louzir”.
He has likewise participated in short films such as “Entre temps” and “La maison mauve”.
