Tunisia-Habib Ghédira: Rise in infections indicates the passage from the outbreak stage to that of the group pandemic

Member of the scientific committee for the fight against the coronavirus, Habib Ghédira, affirmed that the epidemiological pattern has experienced an upward inclination from the stage of outbreaks that can be contained thanks to the intervention of health authorities, to the stage of group epidemic, most of which are local cases of horizontal infection, difficult to control.

Ghédira underlined the sensitivity of the next step, which calls for more vigilance and awareness in light of the progressive model adopted by the virus, and a spirit of personal responsibility of the citizens of each one at his level, as well as the concern to ensure maximum personal security, whether in the family or practical environment, to reduce the epidemic of the virus, which has spread rapidly in recent weeks, following an increased mixing without respecting the measures of security.

He said, in the same context: “We are still at a distance from the danger stage, and it is possible to limit the spread of the virus, and the room for intervention is still possible”, urging citizens to respect the measures safety measures such as washing hands, respecting the social security distance and continuing to wear masks in all places.
