Tunisia: Hachani calls for accelerating the audit of recruitment

The steering commission of the general audit of integration and recruitment operations in the civil service, authorities, public companies and establishments, companies with public participation and all other public structures carried out between January 14, 2011 and July 25, 2021 met Monday at the government palace under the presidency of prime minister Ahmed Hachani.

The prime minister took note, on this occasion, of the progress of the audit operation and the major conclusions relating thereto.

He underscored the significance of accelerating the pace of work and respecting the deadlines set for the mission, according to a press release from the Presidency of the Government.
At the start of last October, the President of the Republic Kaïs Saïed, during a meeting with the head of government, called for accelerating audit operations in order to “purge the administration of those who were recruited outside the legal frameworks “.

The audit operations steering committee is set under the supervision of the Presidency of the Government. It includes in particular three judges from the judicial, administrative and financial orders appointed by decree, members. The steering committee appoints audit committees, defines their missions, facilitates their work and monitors their reports.
