Tunisia-Hafedh Caid Essebsi to lodge a complaint against Lazhar Akremi

Hafedh Caid Essebsi decided to promptly file a complaint against Political Affairs advisor  Lazhar Akremi after the considered latter allegedly accused Essebsi‘s family of being behind Caretaker Prime Minister Youssef Chahed defeat in the presidential elections.

Akremi further indicated that the estrangement between Hafedh Caid Essebsi and Chahed started when  Chahed refused to intervene for the possible benefit of a businessman at the direct request of the Essebsi family.

In a published Facebook post, Hafedh Caid Essebsi accused Akremi of generating fake accusations to belittle the personal memory of late President Beji Caid Essebsi to influence general opinion and fabricate fictitious stories for the benefit of Chahed.
