Tunisia-Hafedh Caid Essebsi: We are ready for the upcoming elections and Neji jalloul resignation surprised us

During a press conference organized by Nidaa Tounes, the legal representative of the party Hafedh Caid Essebsi has announced that his party has propsed Béji Caïd Essebsi for a second presidential mandate. Essebsi proceeded to declare that they are waiting for the president final answer.

Moreover, he said that the party was ready to present its lists to all constituencies in preparation for the next legislative elections starting July 22nd .Essebsi continued to say his party has no ties with Tahya Tounes and Ennahda Movement currently.
Regarding the recent electoral amendments, Hafedh Essebsi commented at his discretion that it has both positive and negative aspects. Furthermore, he shared his profound astonishment about Nida Tounes’s (Monastir clan) Secretary general Neji jalloul resignation.
