Tunisia-Haica: fine inflicted on Sabra FM revised downwards

The Council of the High Authority Independent for Audiovisual Communication (HAICA) has decided to decrease by 30 thousand dinars to 10 thousand dinars, the amount of the fine inflicted on September 28 on private radio “Sabra FM”.
The regulatory body has likewise decided to keep the final suspension of the program “Libre antenne” and the banning on the replay of the episode of August 22 as well as its withdrawal from all radio sites.
Haica recollected that the episode in question contained a violation of the principle of balanced information processing and the instrumentalization of radio to serve personal interests.
