Former interim Finance Minister Hakim Ben Hammouda officially rejected prime minster Habib Jemli’s proposal to head the ministry of Economy and Finance in the next Government, he attributed his refusal given the difficulty of the task.
In a declaration to “Assabah”, he emphasised that the mission poses great jeopardy, particularly since the person in charge will have to allocate 12 billion dinars of loans in the state budget, a challenge that proves to be elevated due to the strain of the next period.
This mission is virtually impossible and offers a significant challenge to cover the 2020 state budget in terms of financial resources, added Hammouda.
