Speaking to Tunisie Numerique, lawyer Zied Taher announced today the arrest of former prime minister Hammadi Jebali around 8:45 a.m.
Our speaker stated that Jebali was apprehended by an Aouine brigade after a search of his house.
He said the reasons for his arrest have not been revealed, adding that his client has just been discharged from hospital after undergoing surgery.
