Fathia Harcheni, a teacher at Libya street primary school in Hammam-Lif, reported this morning on a private radio that she had been a victim of physical and verbal violence in the principal’s office by the parents of a student.
She said the argument began when she told the father that his daughter was suffering from behavioural problems and that she had frequently prevented classes from running. The parents went to school after the holidays and attacked the teacher, accusing her of beating their daughter and calling her “an” orphan. “
The teacher added that she revealed to the parents that she had never assaulted their daughter. Nevertheless, the latter did not hesitate to attack him verbally and physically.
